Mining: As a leading thermal coal enterprise in China，Yankuang Energy is the largest coal producer in East China，whose subsidiary Yancoal Australia is the largest pure coal player in Australia. By the end of 2021, the Company has in-situ resources (according to Jorc standard) of 14.6 billion tons, 23 coal mines in production and 1 under construction, with an annual production capacity of 160 million tons. It also owns 6 potash mining leases and proven high-quality potash(KCL) resources of 1.7 billion tons in Canada.

The Company's coal products mainly include thermal coal, PCI coal and coal for chemical raw materials, which are characterized by low ash, low sulfur, low phosphorus, high calorific value, high volatile and high ash fusion point). “Yankuang Coal” was awarded as "Recognized Famous Brand in China" and "the No.1 Brand in the Industry", and ranked 68th among the China’s Top500 Brands. Products are mainly sold in East, North, and Northwest China, Japan, South Korea, Australia and other countries and regions.

Shandong base: It mainly operates 8 coal mines, namely Nantun, Xinglongzhuang, Baodian, Dongtan,Jining No.2, Jining No.3, Yangcun and Zhaolou, with an approved coalproduction capacity of 36.55 million tons per year.

Nantun Coal Mine: Located in Zoucheng City, Shandong Province, it was put into production in 1973 with an approvedannual production capacity of 2.7 million tons.

Xinglongzhuang Coal Mine: Located in Jining City, Shandong Province, it was put into production in 1981 with an approved annual production capacity of 6 million tons.

Zhuanlongwan Coal Mine: Located in Ordos City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, it was put into production in 2016and has an approved annual production capacity of 10 million tons.

Wenyu Coal Mine: Located in Ejin Horo Banner/county, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, it was put into production in 2011 with an approved annual production capacity of 1.2 million tons.

Shanxi Tianchi Coal Mine: Located in Jinzhong City, Shanxi Province, it was built and put into production in 2006 with an approved annual capacity of 1.2 million tons.

Australia Base: It mainly operate 9 production coal mines including Moolarben, HVO, MTW and Yarrabee and 4 coal resources exploration projects, which are located in NSW, Queensland and Western Australia, with an annual production capacity totaled 79.3 million tons. Besides, it holds 30% equity of Port Waratah Coal Services, 27% equity of Newcastle Coal Infrastructure Group, and 9.7% equity of Wiggins Island Coal Export Terminal Pty Ltd, among others.

Yankuang Energy has 4 high-end chemical parks including Lunan Chemicals in Shandong, Yulin Nenghua in Shaanxi, Rongxin Chemicals in Inner Mongolia, and Future Energy in Shaanxi. Among them, Rongxin Chemicals’ 4,000-ton Coal Water Slurry consumed per day Gasification Technology has taken the lead internationally and Lunan Chemicals becomes the "chain master" of the coal-based fine chemicals products industrial chain.

Yankuang Energy works for high-end, refined and low-carbon development. It is China’s only company that masters both low-temperature and high-temperature FT synthesis technologies. It has built multiple complete coal chemicals industrial chains such as coal gasification and coal liquefaction. Its major products include methanol, ethylene glycol, acetic acid, caprolactam, coal-to-oil. The annual production capacity of chemical products has reached 7.1 million tons (excluding the production capacity of intermediate products, by-products and some products under construction).

The sales and production volume of methanol ranks the first in China, and the production capacity of acetic acid ranks the third. Caprolactam produced by it has made foray into the high-speed spinning field in the polyester industry, while polyformaldehyde has led the way in China. 115°C refined FT wax has successfully broken out of foreign monopoly into international high-end market.

Established in 2007, Lunan Chemicals Industrial Park is located in Tengzhou City, Shandong Province. there are dozens of types of products, such as acetic acid, ethyl acetate, polyformaldehyde, and caprolactam, with an annual production capacity of 2.3 million tons. A number of its specification have been recognized as national standards. Remarkably, acetic acid, ethyl acetate and polyformaldehyde are recognized as Famous brand products in Shandong.

Established in 2004, Yulin Neng Hua is located in Yulin City, Shaanxi Province. The total annual production capacity of the methanol plant is 1.4 million tons. The 100,000 tons/year DMMn plant is undergoing commissioning and trial operation in 2022. 

Established in 2008, Rongxin Chemicals is located in Ordos City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. The total production capacity is 2.2 million tons per year, mainly produced 1.8 million tons of methanol and 400,000 tons of ethylene glycol per year.

Established in 2011, Future Energy is located in Yulin City, Shaanxi Province. It is the only China’s enterprise that masters both high and low temperature FT synthesis technologies. The Company operates a 1 million-ton/year coal indirect liquefaction demonstration plant and a 100,000-ton/year high-temperature FT synthesis industrial demonstration plant. The millions-of-tons coal indirect liquefaction demonstration project is an important coal clean and efficient utilization project during the national “12th Five-Year Plan”. It has the largest coal indirect liquefaction demonstration single unit in China, with main products of diesel, naphtha, etc.

It operates one Fengwei PV Power Station in Inner Mongolia with a total installed capacity of 100MW. Relying on industrial clusters in Shandong, Shaanxi and Inner Mongolia, it focuses on onshore wind& photovoltaic power generation and PV upstream and downstream industries, implements resources integration and professional management in an orderly way, and move faster to forge a wind &solar-based industrial mix featuring hydrogen power, energy storage and industrial collaboration. High-end equipment manufacturing:Yankuang Energy puts efforts to develop high-end coal machinery manufacturing and other advantageous traditional industries, seeks the establishment of "Intelligent Manufacturing Park" with high standards, and joins hands with leading enterprises in the industry to develop 7 types of high-end intelligent manufacturing products, namely the electro-hydraulic control system for intelligent hydraulic support, the intelligent hydraulic pump station, high-end conveyors, intelligent coal preparation equipment and others. It is sparing no efforts to expand the industrial chains of intelligent equipment manufacturing and accelerate the pace of becoming a comprehensive solution provider for intelligent mining. The Company has successfully developed comprehensive performance test-platform for 50,000 KN hydraulic support with the most complete functions and the largest loading capacity in China. It has also produced a 10-meter ultra-large mining height hydraulic support prototype whose parameters are world-leading, such as working resistance and mining height.

Founded in 2013, Yankuang Donghua Heavy Industry Co., Ltd is located in Zoucheng, Shandong Province. Donghua Heavy Industry is a large-size modern coal machinery manufacturer that is specialized in R&D and design, manufacturing, maintenance and technical services of coal machinery.Donghua Heavy Industry boasts five leading product series, namely support products (mainly hydraulic supports and single hydraulic support), mining products (mainly roadheaders and coal cutters), conveyor products (mainly chain conveyors and belt conveyors), electrical products (mainly switchgear, explosion-proof electrical appliances) and rubber and plastic products(mainly cables and high-pressure hoses). Donghua Heavy Industry has independently developed the ZY21000 hydraulic support, which is the world's first set of applied hydraulic support with the largest mining height and working resistance. Donghua Heavy Industry has independently developed the mobile belt conveyor for mine uses with the largest bandwidth of 1.8 meters in China.
